On World Geothermal Energy Day 2023, the Government of Canada, through the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), committed over $3.6 million to support Kitselas Geothermal's endeavor to tap into the Earth's subsurface heat in British Columbia. Our project, now part of the province's strategic positioning within the geothermal-rich "Ring of Fire," promises to generate over 170 job opportunities, primarily focusing on Indigenous workers, further strengthening B.C.'s pioneering stance in clean energy.
